Effective November 1st, Oxbow transitioned from an on-line retailer to an animal health organization. Oxbow has discontinued the sale of products via the internet instead recommending the purchase of their products from 3 on-line retailers and local preferred vendors.
In anticipation of this change, Indiana HRS established a relationship with Ted’s Feed Store in Beech Grove. The program started in June 2008 and has been running very smoothly. Some benefits of the month order program include: the ability to order all pet supplies from a single location (including dog food, cat food, and conventional cat litter); the ability to order items and pay by credit card; the convenience of picking items up at the store directly or having the orders delivered at no charge to Dawn and Rob’s house on Indianapolis near north side.

This is not a comprehensive list of products available at Ted’s Feed Store. They are able to order any Oxbow products. They also have pet products for additional species (dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, hamsters, horses).
Call Dale and Ted’s Feed Store to place your order (786-9984) and provide your credit card number. You have the ability put your credit card on file and use the same credit card each month, which is pretty convenient! Please tell Dale if you would like to pick your items up at the store to avoid having the items loaded on the truck headed for Dawn and Rob’s house.
If the order is going to Dawn and Rob’s house, please contact Dawn (dawn@indianahrs.org) to make arrangements to pick-up your order. Since orders are secured via credit card, there is a lot of flexibility on pick-up days and times.
